My mom turns the big 60 on January 5 so to celebrate this special occasion my dad threw her a surprise birthday party. Family and friends all met at Sharon and Mike's house on Saturday. When my mom and dad arrived an hour later we were all gathered in the garage. My mom was surprised to see everyone but still didn't know what we were up to. What she didn't know was that we were all going to Four Winds Casino on a big party bus. After many failed attempts of guessing what we were doing, the bus pulls up and we all get on with coolers full of beer. Sue made a fun CD for everyone to listen to on the ride. In no time we arrive at the casino. Before we start gambling we need to fuel up so we all hit the delicious buffet. After we all stuffed our faces with good food, we set off to do some gambling. Some head for the black jack table, others hit the slots or video poker. Some won and some lost, but we all had a blast! Around 9:30 we get back on the bus and head towards home. We all got our cars at Sharon's and went to my mom and dad's house for more food and fun. I wish I had more pictures to add to the blog but unfortunately my camera broke on the bus so I do not have many pictures...
